Membership DIRECT DEBIT
The residents’ association uses subscriptions from the residents in order to fund both maintenance of the shared spaces and green areas plus other improvements such as the slide recently installed in The Res, and remedial works to prevent flooding.
To help with this, the Committee would be very grateful to all residents if they would contribute the small annual sum of €35. You can either fill in the Direct Debit form and take that to your bank, or set up a standing order via online banking using the details within the form.
Items for loan
The Residents’ Association has a several items which are available for individuals to borrow, at their own risk:
- Ladders.
- Tennis nets for use on the courts in the middle of The Res are available from the crèche at No. 19
- Wheelbarrows
Ground force
A small team of volunteer gardeners meet frequently to keep the various green areas in Ballinclea Heights in good shape, by replanting flowers, cutting back trees, and other important horticultural tasks! If you have green fingers, or just fancy helping out, then please contact the Residents’ Association via the usual email address, ballincleaheights@gmail.com.
Book Club
The Ballinclea Heights Book Club has been going for about five years and would welcome new members. The Club meets once a month in each other’s houses. The time is usually at 8.00pm. Members select the books. The discussion is normally wide-ranging and is lubricated by a cup of tea or coffee. It’s a great way to get to know your neighbours and is good fun for anyone who likes to read. Interested people should email ballincleaheights@gmail.com
